Prayer Request HERE'S WHERE YOU COME IN! This website was started to get prayers not only around the country but around the world. You probably know about this site because of an e-mail you received or from a bulletin board. You were asked to pray for Linda and her family and to pass on the e-mail to family, friends, church and, well, just about everyone in your address book, if you can. This way God is hearing our petition from all around the earth and when you check out this site and send Linda a get well wish or prayer, she will know all the support she has to help her to get better and that God has certainly heard her need! Linda, just hours after her surgery, asked if there were more states and countries that posted. So, PLEASE double check your address book and ask your friends. When Linda got sick,
her mom had just changed jobs. Thankfully, she was able to take medical
leave but because she wasn't there long enough, the family has been paying
a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT for COBRA INSURANCE from her old job. Linda's dad
injured himself at work early in the year and though it has been a
blessing in disguise, he has been out of work since due to 2 surgeries on
his elbow and shoulder. He has been able to share in caring for Linda BUT
Workers' Compensation only pays a portion of his regular salary. -----SO
THE FAMILY IS LIVING ON LESS THAN ONE SALARY AND PAYING LOTS MORE FOR
INSURANCE!----------------The third financial blow is Sloan-Kettering. It
is an "out-of-network" and 'out of state' hospital. The family has taken
the step with S-K on faith. They don't know how much the surgery and stay
in New York will cost.
