Remarks of Remembrance of
Mary L Fox
If I had to describe Mary in three words or less I would use the phrase on one of her beautiful flower arrangements “Everybody’s Mom Mom” for that was what she truly was. She was one of the most likeable people anyone could ever meet. You immediately felt comfortable with her and she just had that kind of face everybody loved. One never felt judged with her, she had that beautiful smile and she ALWAYS remembered your name. Saying goodbye to her is so very hard to do. She has been such an important part of all of our lives. She was a daughter, a wife, a sister, a mom, a grand mom a great grand mom, a aunt and a friend. She has guided so many of us through so many things. Always around when needed, ready and willing to give her advice, even at times when she knew it was something we did not want to hear. For so many of us she has helped grow into the person we are today with her wisdom and guidance molding and teaching us. She not only opened her home to everyone, she also opened her heart. Giving us all so much support throughout our growing up years. As our families started to grow she was there with joy in her eyes welcoming each new one into the world. Coddling them and loving them from the moment they were born. I am sure many of you have heard the stories regarding “Hit and Miss” Which I won’t attempt to go into now for we could be here forever. Though later today you all really should ask about the “Swimming Pool” She became the “Spirit” of Hit and Miss. Without her how lost we all would have been. Thank you MOM and MOM MOM for your everlasting love. Thank you for your caring and your support. If she could speak to us all one last time I am sure this is something she would say:
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one We shall all miss you so very much, but know that you will always be within our hearts. How so lucky we ALL are to have our own very special angel watching down upon us from up above.
