I know you can not see me mom
you can not feel my touch
I can see how you miss me
oh so very much

The pain that is in your heart
since that day I went away
does not seem to be getting easier
but Mom, I am ok

I miss you oh so very much
but that you all ready know
There is something I need to tell you
I did not get the chance before I had to go

I want to say Thank you
from the bottom of my heart
you are the best mother in the world
from all the others you are set apart

You taught me how to love,
You showed me how to live
You were always there for me
always ready to give

Mom, I know I'm not there with you
so on this special day
I want you to do me a favor
and look up towards my way

And when you look up to the sky
as the clouds are swirling past
Stop, wipe away your tears
for I am safely home at last

Happy Mother's Day Mom

I wrote this for my very special Friend Theresa,
on her first mothers day without her loving son Ray

I come back to this page 4 years later, for now I have two more friends that have lost a son, I so wanted to write a poem just for them, but I know in my heart I can not come up with the words that will say more, or mean more then the ones I have written here. I know Theresa will not mind sharing these words, these thoughts with Donna and Margaret...
to the three of you I give you my love, my thoughts, my prayers.
