I went looking in the dictionary for I wanted to see just what the word "family" meant. Though I found many different definitions I felt this one is the one that really says it all. Especially "B" sharing goals and values.

*fam·i·ly (fām'ə-lē, fām'lē) n.  pl. fam·i·lies

  1. A fundamental social group in society typically consisting of one or two parents and their children.
  2. Two or more people who share goals and values, have long-term commitments to one another, and reside usually in the same dwelling place.
  3. A group of like things; a class.
  4. A group of individuals derived from a common stock: the family of human beings.

When one starts a family they do it blindly, having no clue what lies ahead of them, but hopefully you have built enough values within yourself that you some how manage to instill those same values on to your children. And you hope that they manage to grow up truly knowing what the word family means.

As with many things in life we don't always succeed as we set forth to. And apparently this is one area I have seemed to fail at greatly. For some how I managed to mess up one of my most important jobs handed down to me.

For this I am truly sorry. I can only hope that someday you can learn those valuable lessons that I miss lead you on. And maybe if you are lucky enough you will be able to instill the proper values on your own off spring. And years down the road you wont be questioning yourself wondering where it was that you went wrong!
