Lost another chat friend today
And now my life seems to be in dismay
Its funny how this internet can bring you friends
You look forward to the message that they send

Then you get that one you don’t want to see
Your long time friend is no longer to be
The sad news passes thru the line
And your heart skips a beat loosing a moment in time

You find yourself welling in tears
As you remember the chats thru the years
And then you wonder just what will you do
For they are no longer with you

To all the friend that I have met
On this thing they call the internet
I thank you for your friendship to me
It has brought me much joy and glee

Many times the days pass on by
And you have not heard a word and wonder why
It’s not because I am not thinking of you
It’s just because of all the things I must do
