Another new year is upon us
we wonder about all the fuss
for tis just another year ahead
just the same as those we put to bed

But alas, we think what shall we do
as I send a new year greeting to you
I send you the wishes for good luck and health
hoping you find yourself in wealth

and along with it comes from my heart
these wishes I send to you from the very start
that this year may be better then the last
that we can move on from our past

that we may find we smile more
that our lives are filled with happiness galore
that sadness does not find us this year
that our eyes shed not a single tear

That we remember those we have lost
and not feel the pain or cost
that our hearts start to mend and heal
and peace and contentment we start to feel

I raise my glass up to you this day
and hope you listen to what I say
for the time has come for us all to know
that whatever at us life might throw

We have the strength to get through
every little thing we do
we know in the deepest part of our heart
that we never shall be apart

So Happy New Year to you my friend
